What are the ID and age requirements?
You must be 18 to be tattooed in the state of MA.
At the time of your tattoo or piercing you must present valid state or federal identification (License, passport or state ID)
Persons under the age of 18 may be pierced with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Both the minor and the guardian must have valid state issued I.D. In Northampton the minor may use a license, driver’s permit, passport, or birth certificate as a form of I.D. In Cambridge the minor must have a birth certificate as their form of I.D. In the event that the guardian is not listed on the birth certificate, or the last name’s on the identification do not match proof of guardianship will be required.
We DO NOT keep copies of identification from previous visits on hand at the front counter so all clients must present their ID each and every time they are pierced or tattooed.
What is Lucky's return policy?
BODY JEWELRY MAY NOT BE RETURNED. One of our piercers will be happy to help you insert any new body jewelry purchases to ensure that they are the right size, gauge and fit. Jewelry that is purchased and taken out of the store may not be returned. If you are unsure of the size that you need be sure to see a piercer for help. If you are looking to purchase a gift, we strongly suggest purchasing a gift certificate in place of gift body jewelry.
GIFT CARDS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. If you find that you are no longer in need of a gift card once purchased, it still may be used by another party regardless of the name on the card, ex: selling the card, giving it as a gift to another person, etc.
Please allow gift certificates purchased through our website a few moments to process through! It is not an immediate transaction.
What do I need for my appointment?
When scheduling a tattoo appointment we require that a NON-REFUNDABLE $80 deposit be left on the day that the appointment is made.
If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment we ask that you do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. In the event that you do not show up for your tattoo your deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to leave another one before you may schedule another appointment.
Lucky’s reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments at any time.
When should I not get tattooed or pierced?
We cannot tattoo or pierce you if you are intoxicated.
If you take a blood thinner, certain heart medications or have diabetes, or other medical conditions that may affect healing it is best to consult your doctor before being tattooed or pierced.
We do not tattoo or pierce folks who are pregnant.
